How Does A Favorite Childhood Game Actually Describe The Underlying Tenets Of Reality What is by far the most amazing aspect of accepting the self-evident facts that both time is eternal and space is infinite? In my humble opinion, it is the way that general relativity and special relativity can elegantly explain so many more mysteries than we currently give them credit for. Hear me out for just a minute or two, and I am certain you will agree that the most amazing aspect of reality itself has been sliding under the radar for far too long. Our best cosmological simulations fail miserably at describing all the different anomalies we see within the Lambda-CDM framework because every time our scientific precision increases due to technological progress, our predictions stray further from observation. However, this is nothing new, and we have become quite adept at inventing new theoretical band-aids to try to patch the decades-long schism that has been growing between cosmological observations and predictions. This has been ongoing for over a century due to a starting assumption that failed to take into account the basic tenets of reality. We extrapolated a hot, dense center based on observations, and at the time, there was insufficient evidence to claim otherwise. In hindsight or with retrospect, we now see how many separate band-aids we needed to add to leave us where we stand now, still with so many separate anomalies unaccounted for. Toggle the arrogant, earth-centric, and naively self-important assumption that "our" big bang created the entirety of the Universe, or that time itself started with the creation of our visible universe, and instead accept the almost certain extrapolation that an eternal span of time preceded the direct chain of events that spawned our infinitesimal patch of visible spacetime. When you turn that speculation into a premise and then apply the math of special and general relativity, something almost magical develops, and that is the amazing aspect I was referring to when one embraces eternal time and infinite space. When the math of relativity is used to predict what happens inside infinite space during eternal time, we recognize that the homogenous and isotropic cosmological principle we treat as the foundation for our Lambda-CDM model extends in all directions for all eternity. We can deduce with statistical certainty that the fact that our visible universe exists means there must be infinite mass and infinite energy. The fact that we have matter and energy localized here means there must be mass and energy everywhere. The chance of an infinite and eternal spacetime having mass and energy inside a single pocket of spacetime and not everywhere in all directions is about as close to zero as it gets. The fact that we exist at all inside an eternally infinite 4-D Minkowski spacetime is statistical proof of infinite energy and infinite mass. So when we embrace eternal time and infinite space, we must accept infinite mass and infinite energy as certainties, not speculations. Start with that premise and toss aside any speculations still wrapped in fears of the unknown, embrace eternal time and infinite space, and then we see that relativity tells us that our entire universe is nothing more than an eternal game of follow the leader(s). The natural tendency of every celestial body or bodies is to perpetually play follow the leader(s). That in turn creates a nested succession of parent comoving frames of reference, where all the siblings share the same relative trajectory and relative velocity of their most massive siblings. We see this now occurring across our visible patch of space-time, where moons orbit planets that orbit suns that orbit black holes that orbit other galaxies that orbit other, more massive nested successions of comoving frames of reference. It is time to admit the obvious, something that has been staring us in the face for decades, yet we have neglected to embrace it until now. The same game of nested follow the leader(s) we see inside our visible horizon continues upwards and outwards beyond our visible universe, creating larger and larger relative comoving structures playing ever larger and larger games of follow the leader(s). Inside eternally infinite 4D-Minkowski spacetime, we do not get eternally inflating bubbles or bubble universes or faster than light inflation. We get an infinite number of separate nested successions of comoving frames of reference. Nested successions of siblings playing follow the leaders and, in doing so, inadvertently provide us with the very nature of time itself. General relativity tells us there are no bubble universes, but instead gravitationally bound systems inside successively larger and larger gravitationally bound structures. Special relativity tells us that each separate rung in that ladder of nested parent "inertial" frames of reference gets to experience its own base perception of both time and space. Should the entire Laniakea supercluster double its velocity through spacetime, or the areas inside our supercluster that are orbiting the great attractor or Shapley attractor decrease their orbital period by 75 percent, there would be a non-zero impact on our planet's perception of time and space for those spacetime events outside of the frame that changed. This holds true for our local group, our galaxy, and even our solar system. And it holds true for the nested succession of parent comoving frames of reference that extend far beyond our visible cosmic horizon. Each separate game of follow the leader(s) creates a group of bodies sharing the same relative trajectory and same relative velocity and thus sharing in the same base perception of both space and time. Each body or collection of bodies that shares in that base perception then experiences its own unique perception of time and space based on two well-proven facets of its travels. Its relative velocity within that comoving frame, as well as all gravity wells that it is passing through on its journey, both further refine the base perception of space and time that each sibling then passes on to their children, and this occurs in a natural, nested succession. Time is hereditary and passed on from parent frame to child, and those children that themselves are parents pass their base perceptions down, and this occurs in a nested succession that very possibly could continue infinitely outwards and infinitely inwards. But since each nested rung in the ladder is partially responsible for all its descendants' perceptions of the passage of time, if there was a naturally occurring phenomenon that occurred at many/most levels where the orbits of the bodies orbiting their most massive sibling slowly increase in diameter over time, then the average of those nested pockets all slowly loosing their massenergy cohesion to spacetime would look to us at our scale factor like the very fabric of our local spacetime was being torn apart. Someday, when we see the rate increasing exponentially, it will validate the prediction made here that a nested succession that extends far beyond our visible horizon, all playing follow the leader(s) would manifest as dark energy. Meanwhile, the occasional intersection of separate nested successions of comoving frames that could be tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of levels deep before they share a common parent could see collisions occurring that reach or even exceed twice the speed of light. Our cosmic speed limit exists within our nested succession of parent comoving frames of reference, but a sibling of ours far, far removed from our scale factor would have its own speed limit, and collisions at our scale factor could occur at 42 or 67 times the speed of light, vaporizing mass back into hot, dense swirling eddies of superheated plasma. No hot dense center is needed, and no period of inflation is needed, and nearly all the other mysteries plaguing our best simulations fade away when we see that before our period of recombination, there was no hot dense center but a succession of superluminal collisions. Our best approximation of Laniakea does a good job, I think, of showing us this. Dark matter did not create our cosmic web, but the leftover streams of superluminal plasma from multiple successions of collisions that started with the same degrees of relative kinetic energy, thus a wide distribution of nearly uniform heat was the true source. Grasping the true nature of infinity means accepting that we have found nothing elementary and our standard model of particle physics shows us stable aggregations of subquantum waves in phase, while things like vacuum energy and virtual particles are unstable aggregations of subquantum energy. A subquantum realm where tiny attractions and repulsions occur at subquantum scales that occasionally aggregate temporarily to interact with the trajectory of particles in motion would look to us like a probabilistic wave function, superposition, and tunnelling. It would also explain how spacetime is able to bend and warp due to the presence of mass. When we understand that a fine structure constant manifests naturally based on the relative ratios of the density of mass and the density of energy across specific ratios of the density of space and density of time, then one would predict that if we continue upwards and outwards with random ratios of densities, there would eventually be a larger scale factor where that same ratios would naturally replicate and a fine structure constant at some unimaginably larger scale factor is a prediction of infinite space and eternal time. Science has dismissed infinite regression and the possibility that life on big wet rocks evolved through the atomic layer yet if you truly ponder what general relativity and special relativity are telling us then I think it is quite arrogant to think our species or this planet holds any special place in a universe that will continue long after the last footprints we ever existed have long since faded away. To accept and embrace the true nature of reality, is to understand that there are no smallest or largest measurements of space, time, mass, or energy. Therefore, there would be no smallest or largest measurements of heat, luminosity, magnetic field strength, electric field strength, or gravitational field strength. We already accept that electromagnetism and gravity are scale invariant and scale independent, and when we apply these concepts to eternal time and infinite space, we see that multiple reasons come into play in the underlying forces that drive an infinite number of separate nested comoving frames of reference to grow, collide, dissipate, reform, reforge, revolve, and rotate. Our Universe is made from an infinite number of separate points in space that are relative to a finite number of other points at any moment in time. Our Universe is made from an infinite number of separate nested successions of pockets of relative pressurized spacetime massenergy heatradiation. If you disagree and believe that, in some way, time is finite or space is finite, then a multiverse in that universe would have a zero chance of being true. When you agree there must be eternal time and infinite space then we must also accept that means there is a 100% chance that somewhere at some point in time, every single quantum state that occured on our big wet rock would have repeated in the same exact order an infinite number of times, as well as random variations of those same exact steps an infinite number of times and it is happening right now, and has done so forever. Each of us, in a sense, is eternal. If you make a fake gun with the hand of your choice and spin that arm around wildly in any direction and then stop and were to continue on the line you create for an eternal span of time, you would not only eventually pass through a living creature that shares your exact DNA, you would do so an infinite number of times. Each time more likely to be on a different world than what we see around us now, with zero chance of ever sharing any dreams, memories, conversations, objects, or lives.
